Preventive Healthcare Initiative (PHI) is a non profit, Non – Governmental Organization established to improve the health status of women through a strategic linkage that combines health education, research and resource appropriate interventions.
Every year our women die regrettably, from largely preventable diseases due to ignorance, socio-cultural and economic factors. Lack of a gender specific health promotion and screening programs as well as inaccessibility to appropriate medical care are also major contributory factors.
